Stevinson sportsman's club is a licensed upland game bird club located in the confluences of the Merced and San Joaquin Rivers in the western portion of Merced county.  It is situated within the native riparian and wetland habitats of these two great rivers.  It operates on approximately 3,000 acres of prime upland game bird and waterfowl habitat in Merced and Stanislaus Counties.  Located just 7 miles east of Newman, California; the Stevinson Sportsman's Club is less than 2 hours commute from the San Francisco  and Monterey Bay Areas.  Centrally located, it is 90 minutes from Oakland and the East Bay, and less than two hours from San Francisco, Monterey, Sacramento, and San Jose.  Stevinson Sportsman's Club is in close proximity to the Stevinson Ranch Golf Club, a 4 1/2 star public golf club with an 18 hole championship golf course and lodging facilities.  Both the hunting club and the golf club are own by the Kelley family.

Stevinson corporation landholdings encompass nearly 9,000 acres and 18 miles of riparian habitat along the San Joaquin River system.  The Kelley family emphasis upon long term habitat protection, restoration and enhancement of the natural habitat on their property is evident in the quality of the hunting experience. 

The Hunt Club covers a diverse mixture of riparian uplands and wetlands as well as irrigated pasture and alfalfa ground for hunters who prefer challenging and less challenging hunting terrain.       also available. Trained gun dogs are a must, and for those do not have one, rental dogs are available. Guides hunts are also an option with advanced notice.
